Recipe: Healthy Banana Cookies

These are some of my favorite treats! They are a healthy and delicious substitute for regular butter & sugar-overloaded cookies. I typically make 2 batches and they last me about 2 weeks if I’m lucky haha. I love them because they are easy to make and I can still get my chocolate fix without feeling guilty if I eat two or three. Enjoy and let me know what you think!


  • 3 Ripe, Mashed Bananas
  • 1/3 Cup Applesauce
  • 2 Cups Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Almond Milk
  • 1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Cool and enjoy!


  • Other fun add-ins: coconut shavings, chia seeds, or peanut butter! Key word: or. If you choose to add something else, pick one extra and maybe try another for a different batch!
  • Also, after cooling, I put the cookies in a tupperware and keep them refrigerated! I think they taste more refreshing this way, but other times when I want that warm melted chocolate taste, I heat them in the microwave for 20 seconds 🙂
