If you do not know Alexis Christine, then you are missing out on life. She is a lover of laughter, picture-taking, and avocado bagels. She is one of my besties and I could not thank God enough for allowing me to have such a great role model, inspiration, and pure joy. From liking the same boy in 8th grade to being college pen pals and travel buddies, this girl is quite ravishing. This interview is an attempt to show you her delightful self.
Student at Vanderbilt University

A ray of sunshine in my life 🙂
What are some of your hobbies?
Reading, running (sometimes), hanging out with people, and having long conversations
Anything chocolate. If I had to chose one, I would go with…ugh I can’t choose. Chocolate icing… mmm chocolate cake or chocolate icing… like lava cakes.
Which famous person would you want to be friends with and why?
Anne Hathaway- because she’s really awesome. She seems really independent, successful, confident, and down-to-earth.
What do you consider to be a perfect day?
A warm, sunny, and peaceful day, where I’m just feeling really blessed.
For what in your life do you feel most grateful?
Oh that’s hard. If I had to choose one thing, I would choose my family, but in general, I would say my relationships.
Describe your relationship with your mom.
She is my best friend. I feel like I can tell her anything and I feel like we have a very special and unique relationship. She is really cool and really beautiful. I’m glad people say we are similar because I want to be like her.
Favorite restaurant? What do you order there?
I don’t think I have one. Lately, I’ve been craving Chipotle a lot. I get a burrito bowl with white rice, black beans, chicken, medium salsa, and guacamole.
What one skill do you wish you could master?
Dancing. 100%. I feel like hip-hop is really cool, but honestly any kind is awesome. I just feel like it’s so beautiful and I wish I could do that.
Who is your favorite disney princess?
What is one fashion trend you don’t understand?
Weird-colored sparkling eye-shadow from the early teenage years. (I did it too haha.)
Hike or bike?
Do you have a life mantra?
I guess I don’t have one that spans my whole life, but one I have tried to stick to recently is: embrace uncertainty.
Favorite part about Vanderbilt?
The really cool relationships I have made with really genuine people.
Has college changed you at all or made you realize something about yourself?
Yes, definitely. It’s made me realize that I am capable of a lot more than I thought in terms of school and being independent. It also caused me to grow more in my faith intentionally, and made me realize how much I appreciate my parents and friendships at home.
What makes you the happiest?
Giving someone a good gift that I really thought about…either something creative or a collection of things that I know they will really like.
Is there anything else you would like to share with my readers?
I have always cared what other people think about me, but I think that if you are really being your true self then that will come through with your interactions with others, and you will attract the kind of people you want to be around. In the end, you don’t need to worry about what people will think.
Spoken like a true champ.
Gosh. Isn’t she is the cutest? #avocadotoast
