Fitness Professional Survey

Hi!! Below are the results of an anonymous health and fitness survey I sent out to a group of fitness professionals in the Indy area. The 9 pie charts and 1 bar graph below are based off of the 12 responses that I received. Please comment below with any thoughts and/or suggestions for another post like this 🙂

This chart displays that 50% of the people surveyed incorporate rest days during the week. You do not need to kill yourself everyday to achieve results.

Personally, I like to incorporate mini home workouts with ankle weights or core work if I am ever (yet, rarely) in the mood to watch a little TV.

I was surprised by this response because I do not personally like using these terms. I believe that you can have things (i.e. a brownie, pizza, bagel, etc.) in moderation without saying you are “cheating” on your diet.

YES YES YES! 100% of us believe in REST AND RECOVERY.

I definitely fall into the “carbs” category here. Pretzel goldfish are seriously such a weakness haha!

I love that 75% of us made a resolution or goal for ourselves despite being fitness professionals. There is ALWAYS room for improvement 🙂

Speaking of improvement, 100% of us stay in shape for ourselves! This is key because taking care of your body should be a gift to yourself. Fuel it with love, nutrition, & good workouts, and it will ultimately result in self-love and appreciation.

I do not take health supplements yet, but have been researching some that I’d like to try! Comment below if you take any 🙂

About 58% of us responded that lifting weights is your favorite! There are so many benefits to lifting weights as well as SO many exercises that you can incorporate weights with, so this was not much of a surprise to me.

Other responses recorded were:

  • CrossFit
  • HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)
  • No favorite
  • Running
  • Cardio, abs, & arms (that was mine hehe); I am also a major fan of PiYo, which I’m leading at the student gym this semester! Come visit!
