A more reflective blog post for you on this Sunday. Lately, I have been waking up around 5 a.m. I enjoy peaceful morning time and find myself being the most productive then. However, with my crazy schedule nannying for three families and working at the donut shop, I have been setting my alarm clock earlier and earlier so that I can have time to do the things that make my soul happy: exercising, sunshine time, reading, and painting. I try to make the most out of my days, but I think the sleep debt is catching up to me…
I also am struggling with the pull to travel. I find myself looking up flights and airbnb set-ups too frequently. I need to keep reminding myself to SAVE for Australia or Greece.
While I hate to admit it, I let comparison get the best of me. I look at all of these Insta models/bloggers and think about how much I want their clothes, skin, house, adventures, job, etc., etc., etc. It occasionally has an impact on my confidence and mood during the day.
To push away some of these uneasy thoughts, I like to take long walks and discover new music. Here are some feel good songs that are so worth listening to if you have a chance.
- Gallery album by A R I Z O NA
- I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Live) by Ben Rector
- Come Back Home & Paris in the Rain by Lauv
Talk to you soon lovelies,
