Just spent a lovely and much needed week with my family! Had to say bye to them yesterday, but didn’t have any tears because I’ll be back home in 5 DAYS! Here are some of the highlights of the trip…
Hola! I just got back from an unforgettable trip in Madrid with my Sports and Nature Interest Group! Below is a recap (with pics of course) and some random thoughts as my semester abroad is quickly coming to an end.
The past 5 days I have spent my time in Cádiz, Spain at La Playa de Valdelagrana. It has been a relaxing vacation full of sunshine, long walks on the beach, Nicholas Sparks novels, and reflection.
- Fresh dough is amazing. One day, I had these delicious fried dough appetizers with mozzarella cheese in the middle, and I could not stop eating them. I could tell that the ingredients were so pure unlike a lot of the processed food in the U.S.
- I want to learn Italian. Although not too many people speak the language at home, I think it is so beautiful, and plus I can use it for the next time I go back to Italy 🙂
Hi everyone! Below is the video I made from my magical, dreamy, and perfect trip to Paris! Off to Rome tomorrow! Hasta luego!

I have 50 days left in Spain, and I know that time is going to start flying by! Here is a quick post about my upcoming trips and goals for the rest of the semester!
Hello! Today, I wanted to share a list of how I get many odd stares in Spain that essentially spotlight my American identity. Sometimes people do double-takes, others point, and some Spaniards even laugh at me… Regardless, I have gotten used to it, and am proud to be an American haha!
Hiiii! Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile! I have barely had time to write because of all of the traveling I have been doing lately! Below are some pics and summaries of the past 4 trips I have gone on 🙂
Today, I decided to write about all of the traditional Spanish food that I have tried so far. I am a very picky eater, so finding things that I like has been a challenge for me. I also am given my meals (unless if I say that I am going out to eat) and cannot shop for my own groceries, which has been part of the challenge. However, there are a some dishes that I find myself eating every week 🙂
Hola! Today I took a day trip to Huelva, Spain to visit the beaches of Punta Umbría. As soon as I stepped onto the boardwalk and saw the waves, I could feel a huge smile forming.
