LET’S –> E A T.

So pumped for my move to Chicago this fall! I cannot wait to start exploring all of the theaters, parks, art exhibits, fitness studios, and eateries! In April, I began to make a list of all of the new restaurants I’ve tried (along with what I ordered, a ranking of the place, and its location) and am going to make it a goal to try out a new spot at least once a week. Below is my list so far and the additional restaurants that I definitely want to visit!

Places I’ve tried:

Ēma:

74 W Illinois St, Chicago, IL 60654

Comida Andaluza.

Today, I decided to write about all of the traditional Spanish food that I have tried so far. I am a very picky eater, so finding things that I like has been a challenge for me. I also am given my meals (unless if I say that I am going out to eat) and cannot shop for my own groceries, which has been part of the challenge. However, there are a some dishes that I find myself eating every week 🙂

FRO-YO

Yesterday, I took advantage of a free frozen yogurt cup at Orange Leaf by participating in their YOU BE YOU day! All I had to do was tell them what makes me unique, and I got a free cup of happiness 🙂 (Note: I told them I was unique because I have my own blog hehe.)  The cup, although tiny, really brightened my day, and I thought I would write a tribute to fro-yos, their deliciousness, and my personal preferences.

PANCAKES

There is nothing better than Sunday morning breakfast, and yesterday, I indulged in some delicious Heath pancakes. (Note: Heath is just a brand for toffee bits.) They were quite fabulous, and it kind of felt like I was having dessert for breakfast, but oh well! Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfast dishes, and this blog is solely dedicated to their goodness.
